My name is Miss Kisses. I am an English Springer Spaniel and Fetsje is like a second Mom to me. She has been my pet sitter for several years. When my Mom is out of town, Fetsje lets me stay at her home and even lets me sleep in her bed. We go for walks and she gives me massages while I tell her all my secrets.
My Mom never worries because she takes such good care of me. I love our special time together...

We are Ace and Zoey. We love our Fetsje so much! We have a lot in common and often wonder if she is really part animal and part human as we like to do all the same things! - Like go on walks, play, snuggle, eat, get belly rubs, share kisses - just to mention a few. Fetsje has been providing fun loving care to us since we were puppies and we still look forward to each and every visit when our Mom & Dad are away! It can be scary and lonely being home alone which makes us even more thankful that our Mom & Dad arrange to have Fetsje come share her comforting snuggles and kisses!

Our names are Casey and Kyra. We are two extremely spoiled American Eskimo dogs and we love Fetsje! She has been taking very good care of us when our family goes out of town for several years. We really miss our family when they go away, but Fetsje always knows just what we need to keep us happy and healthy until our family returns home to us. She takes us for walks, gives us belly rubs, and feeds us our favorite doggy ice cream. When our mom takes us for walks we like to take her by Fetsje’s house to see if she is home.

Blaze 4/1997-9/2008 Dante 6/1996-9/2006
Hi, my name is Blaze and I cannot say enough good things about Tender Paws. I love my Fetsje! She has been taking wonderful care of me for almost thirty-five years! (That’s five years in your time.) I am the luckiest girl in the world because Fetsje makes twice-weekly visits to my house and watches me every time my humans go somewhere I cannot go. Oh yeah, and she gives the best snuggles and belly rubs this dog could ever ask for! My mom says Fetsje provides her with the peace of mind she needs whenever I am home alone. You see, I am a very noise-phobic girl. I am petrified of thunderstorms, fireworks, and any other loud, startling sounds. Fetsje always goes out of her way to come to my rescue when I need her. My mom says that Fetsje is more than just our pet sitter; she is like family to us. When my brother Dante was sick, Fetsje visited him in the animal hospital, bringing comfort and joy to him in his final days. My mom says she would never allow anyone else to care for me because she knows Fetsje is the only one who loves me as much as she does. I cannot wait until her next visit; maybe someday you’ll be lucky enough to have her visit you!

Riley and Snowball
After Blaze passed away the Whitley's rescued Riley and Snowball. They were abandoned and had a rough start in life. Life with their new family is great. Warm beds, plenty of food and lots of snuggles and belly rubs. We at Tender Paws feel lucky to be part of their lives too.

Romeo Pugsley
Hi, we are Romeo and Pugsley! We wanted to take a moment out of our busy day full of naps and snacks to say how much we love Fetsje and her Tender Paws Pet Sitting crew! Every time our parents go out of town and Fetsje shows up at our door we are no longer lonely.
Fetsje and her team take such good care of us. They are extremely reliable and we never have to wonder if we're going to get fed (and we LOVE to eat!). The Tender Paws gang always spends time snuggling with us on the couch and playing with us. They even bring toys!
Our parents have complete peace of mind when Fetsje and her team are in charge. They know we're safe and sound and so is our home! They also appreciate the full report they receive when they get home.
Thank You Tender Paws!

Brewster arrived 3/2009 Chance 12/1994-11/2006
My name is Brewster and I've only known Fetsje for about 2 months, but I'm only 4 1/2 months old. I loved her the first time I met her! I had a brother named Chance who I never got to meet because he is in Doggie Heaven and Fetsje loved and cared for him for 8 years. I love it when Fetsje comes to see me because she plays and snuggles with me every single visit. If I am a good boy and eat all my dinner, she gives a carrot and an ice cube, my favorite snacks :). My family never has to worry about me when Fetsje is taking care of me. My Fetsje takes care of me for long weekends sometimes and during the week at lunch time. I look forward to seeing her and I know she is part of my family!

This was little Trevor. He had many special visits with Fetsje and was even lucky enough to spend full days with her at her home as well. Sometimes they walked, more times than not she carried him. Right up until his last day, Fetsje went out of her way to take extra special care of the little old man. After some difficult experiences in the earlier part of his life, we were glad that his last few years were spent getting pampered and loved by all of us.
After he was gone, Fetsje presented me (Pauline) with the kindest gift ever - a beautiful, framed memorial of Trevor including his paw print and a tiny tuft of his hair. Something I will cherish forever. Fetsje is the best!

Buster Scout 11/1/1995-2/9/2008
Hi. I am Buster. Fetsje began taking care of my brother and me 6 years ago. She always gave us ample belly rubs, walks, and extra attention on visits to our home which we did not get from other kennels or sitters. When my brother Scout passed away in 2008, I was especially lonely, so I began to visit her home when my parents were away. I really enjoyed that time, as I was not only lonely once my brother was gone, but I had to undergo chemotherapy for several months when I had a cancerous lump under my eye. I am all better now but now require extra care and attention, and staying with Fetsje provides that for me.
My mom and dad never worry about me when they’re gone, because they know I am in the best possible care with Tender Paws.
