I am originally from the Netherlands and now live in Huntersville. I developed my love for animals later in life, and now, cannot imagine my life without them. In 1999 I started Tender Paws Pet Sitting and I just love my job. I have a soft spot in my heart for rescue animals. I am the proud owner of Lilly and Lucy. They turn into Great Dane Wannabes when I volunteer for Great Dane Rescues. They know how to work the crowd and raise money for their big friends.
Pat 
Pat is a resident of Cornelius. She has been a care giver of pets for the past 40 years. She has owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other exotic animals. Being a pet lover and care giver, she has gained a lifetime of experience caring for and handling many species of animals with varied personalities and traits.
Pat is also an artist working in fantasy art media. Many of her paintings reflect fantasy renditions of different species of animals.
Pat is the proud owner of 1 dog and 1 cat. Besides being a pet sitter, Pat is also available for home boarding, and overnight stays in your home.

Stefanie
Stefanie moved to the Huntersville area in 2003. Stefanie and her husband have been clients of Tender Paws for that same amount of time, and have recently welcomed a baby girl into their family. Until recently, Stefanie has worked in technology, but left her job to devote more time to her growing family. An animal lover her whole life, she volunteers at local pet shelters, as well as providing pet therapy in nursing homes with her pug Buster. Her third "child", a young German Shepherd/Hound mix named Smokey, also keeps her busy with long walks and a lot of play, as he has a ton of energy!
